For a cheap set of 2.1 speakers, they're perfect. I'm no audiogeek, but I really love my music, and these speakers are perfect for me.
They look good on the desk, sound crisp and deep, and didn't cost the earth. Perfect!

I bought this item - LS21 - last week with my new Toshiba Laptop from a national retailer. Being very competitively priced (cheap) I thought I was getting value for money, particularly as its a quality specialist brand such as Logitech.
Well advertised and packaged, you sense a feel of reassurance and quality and you remove the packaging and set up the speakers.
" I've done well, got a real bargain ", so I said to myself.
I turned on the speakers, and instant disappointment. The SPEAKER SOUND - PITCH - IS WEAK. The SUBWOOFER is POOR and its BASS is VERY LOOSE. This results in a distorted sound at top half of the volume settings. At the lower half of the volume setting, the sound is okay, it's clear, seems reasonable. But if you want a little louder, you up the volume, and you loose the clarity... You get my drift ...?
THE WEAK, LOOSE, WET BASS SUBWOOFER IS IS TO BLAME.
A price, even lower, would justify its poor performance. However, the brand is good, and saves it from the lowest rating. These speakers are okay for school kids on their first laptop. But for others, I would recommend you spend just a little more for better sound quality. Rating "2.5", somewhere between "ok" and "I dont like it".
