These Logitech Z-10 speakers leave my Stereo HiFi speakers in the shade. The quality of sound from them is quite superb.

Fantastic speakers for the price. A great alternative to a dock for your ipod. Great as pc speakers. Have had several sets of these (none have broken or died). I do find the touch interface a little weird at times, being sometimes non responsive and at other times oversensitive ie. you can sometimes just hold your finger near them! I also have a mac, and don't bother with any of that usb rubbish. You will not hear the difference in quality between the usb, and the 3.5m plug. If anything the analog input sounds a bit warmer in my opinion. These days with plenty of crappy mp3 files around, you can do without perfect digital reproduction. The quality of these speakers comes from them not trying to do to much...they use their amp power to produce quality sound at a reasonable volume level. What is the point of earsplitting volume when the quality drops as the speaker cones scream and fart bass. These are easily loud enough to fill a small to medium sized room with superb sound. For gamers who like to use earphones, there is a phones jack on the side which I use regularly. They are however dust catchers, and require a wipe over regularly. The only thing I would have liked would have been a remote, but thats just because my second set of these replaced my hifi lol. None of the negatives I have mentioned would deter me from buying these speakers, or giving them a rating of 5 stars. They are however the only logitech speakers I would consider, all others seem crappy in comparison. Do not take this review as an overall review of logitech speakers, the others will disapoint. There are perhaps better pc speakers on the market, but not at this price!

I bought a pair of these and was overall pleased with the sound quality. However at the end of the day I found them to be unusable because of problems associated with their USB setup. Perhaps the speakers I bought were actually faulty, but if you check Logitech's forum a number of others have also described similar problems. I subsequently bought a pair of Samson Studiodock 3i's (also USB connected) for £20 more and they work perfectly and sound superb.

I chose this product as it was highly recommended by Which. It does everything it should do - excellent sound. Still not worked out what all the graphics are as the handbook isnt helpful!

Ordered the z10s 10 am one day,delivered 11 am the following day!! brilliant service,the speakers are not bad either and are a huge improvement on the standard ones supplied with the computer so I am well pleased.Full marks for service.
